The Brief
What the client asked for
The client's Business Bay living room had four visible power points and a cable box on the floor — they wanted a clean, gallery-like wall with the TV appearing to float, and nothing else visible.
The challenge
Concealing an 85-inch TV's power, HDMI, and soundbar cables inside a wall-mounted unit without access panels usually means sacrificing serviceability — if a cable fails, the whole unit has to come off the wall.
What we built
We built a full-wall matte MDF unit with a rear service channel accessible from a hidden side panel, so any cable can be replaced without removing the unit. Integrated LED backlighting along the lower edge creates the floating effect at night, and enclosed storage either side keeps the media console and router out of sight.
