The Brief
What the client asked for
The client had converted a spare bedroom in their Marina Promenade apartment into a walk-in closet but was left with an awkward L-shaped room and a single small window that made the space feel dark no matter the time of day.
The challenge
Standard modular wardrobe kits couldn't wrap around the room's angled corner without wasting nearly a metre of floor space, and off-the-shelf units had no answer for the low natural light.
What we built
We built a continuous walnut-veneer run that follows the L-shape wall to wall, with an island unit anchoring the centre and shelf-integrated LED strips replacing the need for a ceiling fixture. Italian soft-close handles and full-length mirrored panels on the island make the room read larger than its footprint.
