The Brief
What the client asked for
An Al Barsha apartment's bedroom was too narrow for a hinged-door wardrobe to open without blocking the walkway to the ensuite — the client needed full storage capacity without the swing clearance.
The challenge
Sliding wardrobe systems sold as flat-pack kits are notorious for doors that jump their track within a year of daily use, and generic compartment layouts rarely match how one specific person actually organises clothes.
What we built
We built a floor-to-ceiling sliding door system on a soft-close aluminium track rated for high-frequency daily use, with a full-length mirror on one panel to double as a dressing mirror. Internal compartments — hanging rails, drawer stacks, and a shelf unit — were laid out around the client's actual wardrobe inventory rather than a generic template, with LED lighting inside for the corner the window doesn't reach.
